Welcome to the United State, First Snow, and One of my Big Dream Come True!

Yeah, I remembered well that I put the sign on my table and my wall at my room "Winter in USA 2011" I have never thought that it was true. It so fast for me, i wrote the sign about October 2010 when I have decided that I wanted to apply the IELSP (Indonesia English Language Study Program) Cohort 8. I couldnt imagine, because almost 2000 applicants from the whole Indonesia and 500 more students of the applicants from my University (University of Indonesia). Alhamdulillah, Subhanallah..Thanks bunch to ALLAH SWT who makes my dream real and come true..

I dont have the great tips for other people who want to apply the IELSP for next cohort. I just want to mention that your Parent's Pray moreover your Mom, is the most important. You cant live without her pray. Miss u mom..=)

So, everything you do just tell her. She will pray hard for you..
Back to the U.S..

Again, I couldnt imagine that now im here. Im in the United State. The state which really far far away from home. This my sixth country that i visited, but is outside Asian countries. And I got all covered by Scholarship. I didnt need to do fundraising like I did for my international conference usually.

Pretty Cold =)

Touching snow.. First snow..=)

Yeah, I love being here..
Thanks ALLAH SWT, Ibu and all my family, IIE, IIEF, ISU, friends and other people who always support me. Love u all! =)

TE466 Self-branding Assignment: Fikriyah Winata

One day, my roommate told me: “Fik, you should take a rest. You have been working too long, take a break and don’t be too hard to yourself.”   I suddenly stop writing and calculating some math on GRE problem sets—at that time, I was preparing for my PhD application. Her thoughts about how hard I worked stopped me for seconds and gave me time to think and ask, “Have I been working too hard?”   I personally never think that I work ‘hard enough’, I always feel never enough in working. I always demand more to myself to improve my quality to be a better person. I take everything very seriously including something very small for others. To me, there is no unnecessary thing. Everything is important, and everything has its own value. And I will be taking every single work I have seriously, even it is only doing some dishes at my kitchen home.  My roommate’s perspective then made me really counted the duration I was studying, the number of problem sets I had solved, and how...

Japan! I promised u that I would be back!

Its okay , itu biasa. Tiba2, delayed...

Bagaimana Sikap Kita Kepada Oranglain Dapat Menggambarkan Pencapaian Kita
